We had 82 participants running in glorious and near-perfect weather conditions: sunny, fresh, and despite recent rain, still fairly dry underfoot, even on the section running alongside the river. Our scenic off-road course this year involved avoiding obstacles such as a wedding party and an angling competition!
The winner, who was also the fastest male junior, was Nat Jones from Abingdon School Cross Country Club, in a time of 36.38. Fastest senior male was Alex Mott in 38:30, and fastest male veteran was Graham Ferris of Witney Road Runners in 39:17. Simon Woods of Longworth Runners was the fastest local in a time of 41:45. Fastest female was Clare Norrish of White Horse Harriers in 43:55. Fastest female veteran was Sarah Senior in 45.06, and fastest female junior was Cassia Mielle-Harvey of Radley Athletics in 49:10.
