Urgent Call out for White Blood Cell Donor for a very ill baby - can you help?

The baby son of one of our parishioners is very ill and has been transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

He needs a white blood cell transfusion as soon as possible.

This requires donors with B positive (+) blood type that are CMV negative (-).

B+ is somewhat rare and CMV- even more so.

We need to find 3 donors.

We are organising a day at the JR Hospital in Oxford where they can test for the blood match soon.

If you are a match for B positive and CMV negative, or think you might be, and would be willing to help, please can you get in touch with Reverend Talisker as quickly as possible, so she can pass your details on to the family?
